Interview with Dominique Goodall
Dominique Goodall
What’s your favorite thing about the writing process?
Discovering the characters and the way they mesh together properly – the rivalries and drama which is negligent or overdone on the frequently watched TV shows.
Three facts about you?
1. I love big dogs – the bigger the better (though Great Danes are kinda scary…)
2. I love to sing while I write.
3. My friends and former pets feature in my writing.
Do you believe in UFOs?
Of course, we can’t be the only intelligent life!
What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
The Silver Brumby – not one known much!
Would you rather have fame or fortune?
Fortune – I could retreat from the world happily this way.
Pick one book that is your all-time favorite?
Hmm – now this is REALLY hard. But I’d say The Sight is one I read time and time again.
Embarrassing guilty pleasure?
Reading in the bath. I get told off ALL THE TIME for that!
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I’m both! I love being alone but at the same time I occasionally long for the company of others. I’m like a lone-wolf who is unsure whether or not she should be in a pack or not!
Favorites:
Muppet – Miss Piggy.
Color- Red!
Type of Monster- Werewolf. Always a werewolf.
Do you speed when you drive?
I don’t drive!
Do you believe in the Loch Ness Monster?
I do. Hundreds of years have passed and there’s no way something like that would be passed on for so long and without any real change in description. If crocodiles exist as a dinosaur like creature, so maybe there is life there.
Are you a tweeter, a re-tweeter, or you couldn’t care less about Twitter?
I tweet – occasionally. Not a big fan of twitter.
Your favorite type of music
Anything to sing along with.
Your favorite way to spend an evening
Curled up with someone reading. Nothing better than knowing that I’m not alone but…nothing is expected of me.
Anything you would like to say to the aspiring authors reading this blog?
