Interview with Lesley Owen
When did you first decide you wanted to write?
In 2000, when I got fed up with my job – although I had the urge before that.
Did you get nervous the first time you put your work out there?
Yes, for my first erotic story. I thought it might be too extreme.
What is your favorite genre to write?
Erotica for all women and most men (i.e. gay women yes, but not gay men)
Do you have a favorite author?
Is there something you want to write about, that you haven’t yet?
Yes. I would like to write a story like de Sade’s Justine, but sexier.
What is one silly fact about you?
I smoke cigars
Spaghetti or Lasagna and why?
Lasagna, it’s an excuse to drink more red wine.
Anything you would like to say to the aspiring authors reading this blog?
Just do it.
Windom House is the story of Lady Gilmore and her voyage of sexual discovery in the hands of the mysterious Harris. Lord Gilmore spends most of his time away on their sugar plantation in Antigua leaving Lady Gilmore alone on her estate to amuse herself any way she can. With the arrival of a new estate manager Harris, she rapidly falls under his spell and enters a new world of bondage and hard sex. A strong love triangle with Harris and her maid Millie develops where the limits of their sexuality are continually explored.
Buccaneers, gold, sex, suffering and pain in the heat of the tropics, Chained Cargo is the story of a pirate ship and its voyages of plunder and abduction throughout the Eastern Caribbean. The Scorpion’s captain, Jacqueline Quinn, has escaped years of hard labor under the lash on a French penal colony off French Guiana and is now hell bent on revenge. This is a wicked and spicy tale of piracy and hard sex on the high seas – to be savored like strong dark rum.
Cindy meets Mark, a vice squad cop and the dark knight of her dreams. Her sexual desires soon lead her further and further into his and Greta’s debauched world. There she discovers Margreta’s Dungeon, Mark’s game room for girls and the Psi Ranch with its ponies. This is a world she was always destined for and now she’s found it, she intends to stay.
My review of Bound Heat
In reading Lesley Owen’s book Bound Heat, I wasn’t sure what to
expect. The BDSM genre is not one that I have frequented with my
reading material. I enjoyed that there was an actual plot to move the
story forward. I feel like this is a great book to start off with if
you are looking to read about the world of no pain, no pleasure. I
felt that it was well written, and held my interest. It is fast paced
and their is enough, um action to keep you reading.
